Take a direct intercity train from Amsterdam Central Station to Zwolle, where you can transfer to a regional train bound for Assen.

Board an intercity train from Utrecht Central Station to Zwolle, then switch to a connecting train to Assen.
Travel Time: Around 1.5–2 hours.
Catch a train from Rotterdam Central Station to Zwolle and transfer to a train heading to Assen.
Travel Time: Approximately 2.5–3 hours.
Take a direct train from Groningen Central Station to Assen.
Travel Time: Just 15–20 minutes.
Start from Eindhoven Central Station and travel to Utrecht, where you’ll transfer to an intercity train to Zwolle. From Zwolle, take a regional train to Assen.
